Tijdens de familiedag, gehouden in Oosterbeek op 2 juni 2019, heeft een wijziging plaatsgevonden in het bestuur van de Stichting Familie Snethlage.
De voorzitter Albert Snethlage heeft het stokje overgedragen aan Rudolph Snethlage.
Albert is de founding father van de Stichting en heeft zich jaren ingezet voor het verbeteren van de relatie’s tussen de familieleden. Ook heeft hij de familiedag weer nieuw leven ingeblazen. Het samenstellen van het boek Nederland's Patriciaat met de genealogie van de familie (teruggaand tot 1565) en het aanleveren van de content voor de familie-website, zijn maar een paar voorbeelden van zijn bijdrage.
Voor zijn belangrijke rol binnen de familie is hij benoemd tot ere-voorzitter van de Stichting. Deze benoeming voor het leven, is een ere functie en geeft de familie tevens de mogelijkheid om van de bijdrage van Albert, in welke vorm dan ook, te blijven genieten.

The chairman Albert Snethlage has handed over the baton to Rudolph Snethlage.
Albert is the founding father of the Foundation and has worked for years to improve the relationships between family members. He has also given new life to the family day. Compiling the book Nederland's Patriciaat with the genealogy of the family (dating back to 1565) and supplying the content for the family website are just a few examples of his contribution.
For his important role within the family, he has been named honorary chairman of the Foundation. This appointment for life is an honorary function and also gives the family the opportunity to continue to enjoy Albert's contribution, in whatever form.
